Service load capacity of reinforced concrete rebuilt bridges

Abstract

The calculation method for bridges which are rebuilt (or to be rebuilt) is given. It was assumed that a bridge is old, built under previous standards and there is a lack of any documentation. The main data are dimensions of structure and previous standard regulations. Degradation of structural material, strengthening of elements and previous dead load modification arę taken into account. As an example of this method, parametric analysis of service (real, applied) load capacity of reinforced concrete bridges is performed.
